Intercultural Mediation in a Globalised World

I am very much looking forward to speaking about Culture and Mediation at the SIETAR Switzerland event on May 11, 2026.


Being aware of differences in culture and acting in a culturally sensitive way can help to solve conflicts - and is an essential skill for mediators in todays intercultural settings.

 

And - it is not only about the parties to the mediation, it is equally important to understand your own cultural influences and biases as a mediator and the cultural context the mediation is taking place in.


Join me in the session to understand better why culture is important in mediation and how to become more culturally fluent - not only in conflict situations.
